Machinery Cover is normally arranged on an All Risks basis, either for specific equipment (which tends to be cheaper, as the risk is easily identified by the underwriters and a known quantity) or on a blanket basis. It is possible to arrange breakdown cover for specific machines and indeed in respect of all your machines on site, irrespective of whether they have maintenance agreements in force.

Computer insurance is often best arranged on an 'engineering' contract, as the cover will be as wide as possible and may be extended to include repair costs following breakdown.
